What is the difference between RoRo and containerized vehicle shipping?
In RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off), the vehicle is driven directly onto the vessel’s enclosed cargo decks, which is the most economical method for running cars and heavy trucks. In containerized shipping, the car is secured inside a locked 20ft or 40ft container, offering superior privacy and protection for luxury, classic, or non-running cars.
Can I pack personal items inside my car when shipping?
For RoRo shipping, international maritime regulations strictly prohibit any personal effects or loose luggage inside the vehicle—only factory accessories and spare tires are permitted. If you ship via a dedicated container, you may load personal items inside the container alongside the vehicle.
What documents are required to export a car from Dubai?
You must obtain an official RTA Vehicle Export Certificate (issued after clearing any traffic fines and vehicle deregistration), a commercial invoice or bill of sale, and copies of the shipper’s and consignee’s passports and visas.
How do you protect luxury and low-clearance sports cars during loading?
We utilize extra-long low-approach loading ramps designed specifically for low-clearance supercars, apply protective steering and seat covers, and secure the car using non-abrasive over-the-wheel straps anchored to container floor rings.
